About Us.

What we offer…

Craft

As a subsection of the arts sector that is woefully underrepresented and inaccessible to the intersections we represent, Flare Arts want to champion and work towards curatorial frameworks that uphold this art form.

By upholding Craft, Flare Arts will be rectifying the imbalance, and in turn, supporting understanding of an art form that has immense potential.

Visual Arts

Flare Art aims to support deaf visual artists to push their practice further and contribute to a vibrant arts scene. Flare offers the support creatively and professional to allow creatives to pursue their livelihoods with fulfilling results.

This is achieved through workshops, networking events and exhibiting opportunities.

Curating

We want to support meaningful connections with art by reapproaching curatorial practice through addressing interpretation and who is contributing to such. We aim to work with our identified partners and others to find inclusive and heterogeneous approaches to art.

Flare Arts is working towards providing divergent interpretations to contribute to an inclusive arts scene.

Consulting

Flare Arts draws upon the expertise and lived experienced of its team to provide a robust sector-specific D/deaf awareness training . This is available for company groups and individuals slots within a class. Flare Arts is also available for consultation on specific exhibition accessibility needs and/or catering for deaf or hard of hearing audiences’ experience.
